With a Purpose. For the People.
I grew up in a veteran working-class family, so I know the struggle of wondering if your grocery money will last until payday. Or making hard sacrifices so your child can have a better life than you had, only to lose your home and retirement because of a major economic downturn.
Although as an adult I'm in a different place now, those experiences left an indelible mark on me and inform how I lead today - with empathy, resiliency, and strength.

Safe, Affordable Community
Parents want their kids to ride their bikes on safe streets, seniors want to know their neighbors are looking out for them, and young people want a chance at the American Dream of owning a home. These are not unreasonable asks. It's time for us all to collaborate and go from ME to WE so we can ALL thrive in Fort Collins!
Water Conservation & Sustainable Building
Colorado is facing water scarcity while also balancing the needs of smart development. Let's create smart policy around sustainable building, smaller eco footprints, and have a solid plan for conserving our most precious resource!
Small Businesses & Local Economy
Small businesses and consumers are facing tough economic conditions right now: rising grocery prices, operational costs, and more. Minority owned businesses are often disproportionately impacted, losing hard-won economic power. With the external factors of federal government complicating things, our city needs to have a plan to support people where it impacts them the most: their wallet!
